Dr. Prashant Tamboli completed his graduation in Homoeopathy in 1994. He was passionate about practicing Homoeopathy, so he did Post graduate Course in Homoeopathy from the prestigious Institute of Clinical Research (ICR), Mumbai. He wanted to explore the scope of homoeopathy not only in OPD set up, but also in the management of critical cases admitted in the IPD and ICU. He took up the challenge and works in the IPD set up of Dr M L Dhawale Memorial Trust Hospital, Palghar.

Dr Prashant is practicing since 1996 at Chembur and Kalina, Santacruz East. With his keen interest in Homoeopathic research , he started working in the Research Department of Dr. M. L. Dhawale Trust work since 2000. Currently he is the Director, Research & Medical informatics at Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Trust. He has successfully completed many projects such as Homoeopathy in Diabetes, Hypothyroid, PCOS, Allergies, Skin complaints – Vitiligo, Scabies, Respiratory complaints such as COPD, Bronchial Asthma, Joint complaints – Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, fractures etc. His specialty lies in effectively treating these conditions. Some of these projects are funded by Ministry of AYUSH, GOI.

Dr. Prashant also teaches post graduate students and is a Reader in – Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute, Palghar. He is a well-known resource person and is being called to teach Research Methodology and Homoeopathy across India.

He has written several research articles and is on the review panel of the Scientific journal JISH.
